Top Down Workshops This Weekend!

If you follow Twisted, you know I’ve been raving about Elizabeth Doherty’s book, Top Down: Reimagining Set-In Sleeve Design. This incredibly well thought out book covers so much – from swatching to altering. Clearly written and beautifully designed, I can’t think of a better resource for the modern sweater knitter.

Elizabeth joins us this weekend for 2 very exciting workshops focused on her method. If you can make it, sign up right away! This promises to be an amazing opportunity to change the way you knit sweaters forever. As Elizabeth says in her book, while much of the material focuses on sleeve cap shaping, the real purpose of her technique is to create comfortable and well fitting sweaters for all. I’ve been working on one of the sweaters from the book, Serif. Never before have I felt so in control of a sweater I didn’t design myself.

Elizabeth is a master – don’t miss this chance to meet this gifted designer and work with step by step through the process of starting a perfect sweater. She’s bringing some of her designs with her, too, including two she describes as “magic sweaters” – one’s that look amazing on everyone!
