There’s still time…

Here’s a quick and easy (and wooly and warm) gift idea, just in case you checked your list and found it lacking. You really can get one (or two, or three!) of these done before Christmas Day!

cowl

Stockinette Cowl (from “Three Easy Cowls,” a free pattern at Twisted):
One size fits most on this fast, fun, and luscious cowl. Betcha can’t make just one!
Gauge: 4 sts per inch
Needles: US 9 circular (either a 16” or a 24”)
Yarn: MMMMMMalabrigo (or other Heavy-ish Worsted weight yarn. Alpaca with a Twist Highlander would be particularly lovely, as would the new Malabrigo Twist)
Notions: stitch marker, darning needle
CO 80 sts. Join, being careful not to twist. PM at beginning of round. Knit till you are happy with the length, or until you are close to being out of yarn. (I knitted for about 12”). BO loosely and weave in ends.
