Self-Publishing Your Own Patterns with Lee Meredith
October 28th, 5-8 pm, $30
Wanna be a designer? Crafty-master Lee will teach you all about digital self-publishing, talking about PDFs and how to create them, how to sell them, and how to market your new independent design business! This class will walk you through all the steps you need to get your designs out into the world (not so much the actual pattern-writing and designing, just the publishing) with plenty of time for specifics and q&a, so come armed with your questions!
Materials: Bring your laptop, if you have one, and your fabulous ideas!

Learn to Knit with Julie Nelligan
October 30, November 6 and 13, 10:30-12:30, $60
Bonus session on November 20 for an additional $20 (will get you started on your first project)
Pretty self-explanatory- learn to knit! Join the fold! Hop on in, the wool’s fine! Covers knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, casting on, binding off, and reading basic patterns. If you opt for the bonus class session, Julie will get you started on the Checkerboard Scarflet pattern by Michele Bernstein.
Materials: US size 8 straight needles, worsted weight wool (preferably plain colored and not too dark). If you do the bonus session, you’ll also need 3 buttons.

Anne Berk Studio with…well, duh, Anne Berk!
October 30, 3:30-5:30 pm, $20
Much like our usual studio class, but with guest-genius Anne Berk! Bring anything you’re working on, anything you’ve messed up, and any questions you have at all, and Anne will set you straight.
