Socks are For Suckers – Shawlette Club
Okay, we don’t REALLY think socks are for suckers, but we’ve been very interested in using special skeins of sock yarn for non-sock projects, and we’ve all been falling in love with shawls, scarves, and cowls lately, so thought we’d combine two of our loves…
The Socks are for Suckers Club (SAFSC) is a bi-monthly pattern and yarn club, starting in March of 2011. Similarly to our popular Single Skein Club, SAFSC will focus on the talent that runs pretty much rampant in the Pacific Northwest.
Every other month for a year, club members will receive a special skein of sock yarn, dyed exclusively for the club by an exciting West Coast Indie Dyer, and a pattern for a shawlette by an equally exciting Northwest designer.

The Socks are for Suckers Club is just $210 for an entire year ($240 if you’d like it shipped to your doorstep). Patterns and colorways are re-released to the public six months after their SAFS release.
