K12tog July Project - Shifting Shadows

K12tog July Project - Shifting Shadows

This new, free pattern from Twisted will be the July k12tog KAL project. It is our homage to the upcoming total eclipse that will pass across Oregon on August 21. Get started now so yours is ready by then!

The Earth and Moon each cast three shadows (umbral, penumbral, and antumbral) that drift across us to cause different kinds of eclipses. This seed stitch cowl pattern blends three colors of lace weight yarn to create a shifting gradient fabric. It’s a quick knit – worked flat then either seamed or grafted.

Download a copy of the free pattern from Ravelry, or check out our Shifting Shadows kits here.

Kits contains materials to make one double loop Shifting Shadows cowl:
* 3 balls of Malabrigo Lace – each split into 3 balls
* printed copy of the free Shifting Shadows pattern
