Oodles and oodles of yarn…

Today at the Twisted blog, we’re going to give you a rare glimpse into the back room of the shop. Why? Well, because both UPS and FedEx bombarded us with boxes in the past few days, and we have some very exciting stuff to share with you all.

This is what we are contending with – piles of boxes full of yarn. (Poor us, huh?) What’s in those boxes? You’ll just have to keep checking the blog and Twitter to find out – we’ll be posting new stuff every day for the next few days.

Today, we want to talk about a new-to-us local dyer, Fly Designs. Some friends got us skeins of the Monarch Sport at Black Sheep Gathering a few years ago, and it’s a fabulous yarn, bouncy, twisty, gorgeous colors, great yardage. I made Monkeys for me (big surprise, eh?) and had enough left over to make a cell phone sock, too! Just like Baskin Robbins, we have 31 flavors of this wonderful stuff. It’s 100% Superwash Merino, sport-weight, 370 yards for $20.
