It's nearly SOCKtober! We're celebrating with this flexible and accessible sock pattern by beloved Twistedista Emeritus Sorren. If you haven't knit socks before, don't panic! You got this! This pattern is clearly written and easy to follow, and the fabric is very stretchy, which makes it easy to fit to nearly any woman's foot size.
Sorren's inspiration for this pattern is her grandmother. She writes, "My Grandmother was born Donna Frances Hightower in 1918. She was a woman of many talents, much wisdom, and lots of love. These socks are named for her. The pattern reminds me of the many long walks we would take, up and around the small hill by her house, on a quiet country road surrounded by tall pines and farmland."
