Now for something a little different…

For the Summer, we’re going to try something a little bit different, contest-wise. Instead of a Haiku, we’re going to ask you to add photos to our flickr group. Every month, the wonderful Alex will be checking out the photos, and picking out a winner. Each month will have a different theme. June’s theme will be…

Knitting and plants/flowers. Give us your best photo of something you have knitted from materials purchased here at Twisted, posing with plants or flowers, and we’ll give you something a little bit special. As inspiration (which is a joke, because the plants in the background look decidedly like weeds – I’m not a big fan of sedum in bloom), here’s a photo of my first real Twisted project – toe-up socks in Zen String’s Serendipity Sport, the Twisted colorway.

Now, we KNOW you all can do better than this! As with all of our Twisted contests, the judging is so completely and totally arbitrary and subjective and based on no predefined criteria we can articulate ahead of time. As they say, Alex’ll just know it when she see it.
