Check out our complete updated tea list.

In addition to these, we are very, very dorky – I mean excited – to introduce three blends we found on the Adagio site that honor two of our current TV/video blog favorites.

drhorrible.jpgDr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, for those of you not sufficiently geeky to have gotten the memo this already, is the newest offering from Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, starring the incomparable Neil Patrick Harris as an aspiring super-villain and Nathan Fillion as the superhero, Capt. Hammer, who keeps beating him up and steals his girl to boot.

From Adagio’s site:
Dr. Horrible’s Tea of Evil – “A tea as dark as the Dr.’s heart. This black tea is highlighted with berry blues and a hint of vanilla in honor of the frozen yogurt he shares with his love. May be served with or without sweatener. Honey makes a perfect compliment to this tea.”

Capt. Hammer’s Corporate Tool Tea – “An over-the-top hero, like the Captain, needs a patriotic tea. But this black tea is over-the-top too with apple, caramel and cream. Think of it as a gooey apple pie for our hunky, cheesy hero!”

bsg.jpgBattlestar Galactica, on the other hand, is the story of a small remnant of humanity’s desperate flight from the cyborgs who obliterated their home worlds. Very cheery. FYI, it stars local Portlander Katee Sackhoff as Capt. Kara “Starbuck” Thrace. This one is dedicated to Wil H.

From Adagio:
Battlestar Galactica – “War with a cybernetic race, laced with the passion to survive.” Made of Gunpowder green tea, apple, passionfruit.
