Each month Knitted Wit releases a special colorway for their Herstory Club in celebration of a woman who made or is making herstory. March's inspiration is director Ava DuVernay, internationally acclaimed for movies like Selma and A Wrinkle in Time. Knitted Wit's owner, Lorajean Kelley, writes a love letter to the Herstory subject each month. Her ode to Ava DuVernay is below.
