Knitcurious?

If any of you are lurking out there, thinking about learning to knit and joining the fold (or if you’re a knitter whose trying to convert a friend) you’re in luck! We’ve got two Learn to Knit classes coming up very soon – one for kids and one for adults.

For the kiddies, the ever-talented Karie Galvin will be teaching a class on Sundays, August 8, 15, 22, and 20, from 11-12pm.The class is $40 and is recommended for ages 8 and up.

The adult class is with our own dear sweet Vivian, and takes place on Saturdays, August 14, 21, 28 from 10:30am to 12:30pm, and costs $60.

Both classes cover knitting, purling, casting on, and binding off, and the adult class teaches increasing, decreasing, and pattern reading as well. Students need size 8 straight needles and some worsted weight wool in a plain, not-too-dark color. Drop on by Twisted early and we can hook you up, no problemo!
