Knit 12 Together – A Year of Knit-A-Longs with Twisted

At Twisted, knitting is so much more than just our favorite way to relax. It brings us together to share our love of making, of color and texture, our crafty tips, and our creative enthusiasm. Along the way, we are also fortunate to share our humor, our stories, and our hope for a kinder, more beautiful world with an amazing community of people.

For all these reasons, we are super excited to announce our 2017 knit-a-long series, Knit 12 Together. Every month, we’ll feature an accessible, entertaining pattern, and help you find the perfect yarn for it. We’ll be featuring local designers, and we’re cooking up some fun surprises, too.

Join us for a cast-on-abration on the first Monday of each month, and follow along with your friends near and far here on our

blog, FaceBook, Instagram, and Ravelry. There is no need to register, and you are not required to share your projects, though we’d love to see and admire them. You are welcome to drop in just for the projects that speak to you, or challenge yourself to complete all 12 with us. Either way, we’re delighted to have you aboard and knitting with us!

Our first project in the knit-a-long is Debbi Stone’s totally addictive Tool Box Cowl. Featuring stripes and a playful stitch, this is a knit you won’t want to put down. Go stash diving, or pick out a fresh palette from Twisted’s selection of mini-skeins, for a unique piece that will be as fun to wear as it is to make.

Join Debbi & Arwen Monday, January 2 from 5:00-7:00pm for the cast on party. We’ll help you choose colors, answer your questions, and generally have a blast at this special kick off to your year of knitting along with Twisted!
