Kapok. A blend in yarn, not a science-fiction creature.

So, you know how there are all of these fabulous yarn-blends out there, from bamboo, to soy, to flax, to hemp? Well, now there is also Kapok, which sounds like something that’s either man-made, futuristic, or straight outta Dr. Who, but is actually a plant-fiber.

This is the Kapok tree. Beautiful, no?
