Join us for our July k12tog knitalong - Rye Light by Tin Can Knits in Jojoland Melody OR Onyx Fiber Arts Sock. We hope you can visit us for the cast on party July 1 from 5-7pm!

JULY PROJECT: Rye Light Socks by Tin Can Knits - FREE

JULY RECOMMENDED YARNS: Jojoland Melody (striping) OR Jojoland Ballad (solid)

These quick to knit shortie socks are available in sizes from baby to adult large. The pattern is part of The Simple Collection - Tin Can Knits' fantastic and FREE learn to knit series with 13 excellent patterns and clear tutorials.

This project would also be amazing in a hand-dyed sock yarn like Onyx Fiber Arts Sock. However, Onyx has been so popular since we brought it in earlier this month that our stock is already low!

You'll need 120 (180, 240, 320, 380, 480) yards sock / fingering weight yarn for Baby (Toddler, Child, Adult S, M, L). Jojoland Melody and Ballad are 220 yard balls, so that means 1, (1, 2, 2, 2, 3) balls.

You'll also need US 1/2.25mm and US #2/2.75mm needles (or size to get gauge!) - either circulars OR DPNs, plus stitch markers, and a darning needle.
