K12tog January Project - Tinsel Mitts

JANUARY CAST ON PARTY: Monday, January 6th from 5-7 pm

JANUARY: Tinsel Mitts by Andrea Mowry - Available as an in-store Ravelry download.

JANUARY RECOMMENDED YARN: Malabrigo Caprino.

We know, mitts two months in a row?! But they're one of our most requested items this time of year! These are the perfect pick because you get all the options you could dream of rolled into one pattern. You can make fingerless, convertible, and full-blown mittens all from the same pattern. If that's not a great value, we don't know what is.

You'll need about 50 grams of DK yarn for the regular fingerless mitts. That means you can do a whole pair in one skein of Caprino! (Caprino is the new superfine Merino and cashmere base from Malabrigo.) It'll make the most luscious pair of mitts you've ever put your hands in.

You'll also need US 5/3.75mm needles and US 6/4.00mm needles (or size to get gauge!) - either circulars OR DPNs, plus stitch markers, and a darning needle.
