High Tech Crafting with Debbi Stone

ipadclassTechnology has totally changed our knitterly lives. The rise of Ravelry, the ease of tablets and smartphones, and the incredible way that crafters around the world have come together to share knowledge and techniques has transformed the fiber world forever. With apps offering everything from pattern notation to needle organization, and sites like Pinterest filling us with inspiration, it can all be a little overwhelming.

Local designer Debbi Stone is here to help! She’s offering two classes to help you navigate, make technology work for you.

High-Tech Crafting: Monday, October 10 from 6:00-8:00pm. Debbi teaches you how to maximize your iPad’s use in knitting and crochet, from importing and storing your patterns, to how to use this amazing tool for ease while knitting, Ravelry at your fingertips, and much more!

Ravelry – Start to Finish: Sunday, November 6, from 11:00-2:00pm.
With this class we’ll explore everything there is to learn and know about Ravelry and which parts are best for you, from how to get the most out of your Notebook to using Ravelry Pro, and everything in between. The class is designed so that no matter which device you use to go to Ravelry (computer, tablet or phone) you’ll be able to navigate the inner working of the site and find everything you need!

Looking for more classes? We have oodles coming up, on all kinds of fun topics. Learn something new, expand your skill, or just enjoy meeting other fiber enthusiasts! To check out our full schedule of classes and events, or to enroll, visit our webstore, give us a call (502 922 1150), or drop into Twisted and let us share our love of all things yarn!
