Fun Classes & Cool Cowls
Intro to Stranded Colorwork – Kerfuffle Cowl: Saturday, September 17 from 2:00-4:30pm. Learn the basics of stranded knitting with two colors in the round with this cuddly cowl. This class will start you on your newest knitting obsession with tips you need for success including managing floats, keeping even tension, and picking colors that make your work pop!
Intro to Entrelac – Athena Cowl: Monday, September 19 from 6:00-8:30pm. Nothing in knitting has quite the visual impact of entrelac – a clever way of making your knitting appear to be woven of separate strips like a basket, without
any weaving or seaming. This quick cowl is the perfect introduction to working entrelac in the round for endless entertainment. You’ll even learn how to purl bak without turning your work. Astound your knitting and non-knitting friends alike with your magic!
We have tons of great classes coming up this Fall! We even have 2 amazing, full-day workshops with Elizabeth Doherty, designer (Wool People, Quince & Co.) and author of Top Down: Reimagining Set-In Sleeve Design.
We’re thrilled to be able to bring Elizabeth to the Rose City for an inspiring weekend of knitting education!
