Finishing Workshop begins Saturday, September 5

Hey everyone! There’s still room in the finishing workshop which begins this Saturday. Get those skills you need to have a polished, beautiful garment, and spend some time sipping tea with the lovely Parna.

Learn the finishing skills that will give your projects a refined look. See list of techniques below and suggest what else you want to learn.
Sundays, September 5 and 12. 12:00-2:00pm.

Materials: Worsted weight yarn and needles needed to achieve gauge.
HOMEWORK: Please bring to class 6 swatches, each approx 4”x4’’, as follows:
2 garter stitch with live stitches on one end
2 stockinette with live stitches on one end
2 stockinette bound off
Skills learned: Kitchener stitch (grafting), mattress stitch, 3 needle bind off, blocking, how to weave in ends (duplicate stitch and splitting stitch methods), picot edges, applied i-cord, and others as requested.
