Design Inspiration for Unique Knits

yarneggsKnitting inspiration is all around us! Especially in a beautiful city like Portland, full of Craftsman homes and majestic trees, we can find thought for new projects on a pleasant walk through the neighborhood. If you’ve ever wondered how to bring your knitting visions to life, Twisted has a fabulous workshop coming up you won’t want miss.

Designs from Nature & Architecture: Sunday, November 6 from 11:00am-2:00pm. Local designer Debbi Stone’s class has been a hit a Madrona, and we’re thrilled to bring it to our knitters! Whether it’s the straight lines of a cool old building or the angles and curves of plant life, you’ll explore how to make the translation from inspiration to finished project. Students will start with a photo and pull out design elements, explore stitch dictionaries, and use the pieces and parts of existing stitch patterns to create something new and unique
