for sis’ dog sweater?

Lights strung through the trees
Reminds me of my yarn stash
Calling me to knit

Working late at night

Dreaming of morning

christmas sweaters can be ugly,
but mine have tassels.

Why didn’t I start in June?
Reach for the red wine

Homemade gifts, I pledge
Chunky hats, a single sock
