Or, get fancy with two-color medallions of a Marguerite Blanket by Sandra Eng. This is a more advanced pattern that creates a truly stunning finished blanket.

Why pick one? Use all the colors! Crochet is especially quick, cozy, and open to improvisation, so crochet blankets make an ideal canvas for combining smaller quantities of yarns like mini skeins and leftovers into works of art.

Pick an array of minis to tell a full gradient or rainbow story, find special minis to tie together leftovers into a perfect custom palette, or choose minis that make your heart sing and combine them at random.
