Cable class

Howdy, all. Just wanted to plant the notion in your head that there are still two spots open in this Saturday’s Learn to Cable Workshop. If you’ve been wanting to learn to cable and just haven’t gotten around to jumping in to it alone, let our fantastic teacher Parna help you out.

With permission from the author, our class is using the Coronet hat pattern by Alexandra Virgiel, which you may have seen in the Winter 2003 issue of Knitty. This is her photo, from Knitty, below.

In class you’ll create the simple and elegant braid-like cabled brim. You can then turn that into a headband or go on and finish the hat according to the pattern directions. I made it once in a smaller yarn so that it came out sized for a baby. So cute! If you’re interested in this class, just give us a call to register 503-922-1150.

Saturday, February 9. 12:00 – 2:00 pm.
