Booby!!!

Spotted at Twisted: the elusive Blue-footed Booby. According to Wikipedia, “The name booby comes from the Spanish term bobo, which means ‘stupid’ or ‘fool’/’clown’.” We don’t believe that for a second, at least not about OUR boobie – he’s cute, smart, and not at all clown-like. Just take a look at him, and you tell us if he looks like a fool.

This little guy is a part of the Knitting at Knoon designs’ pattern set Feathers, which is available both in our bricks and mortar shop AND our online store. Check out Knitting at Knoon‘s other great patterns, also, including Take Me to Your Leader (aliens) and Prehistoric Pals (dinosaurs). We have a bunch of these critters living in the shop, too.

Thanks to Vivian for setting up a photoshoot with our new addition to the Twisted family, and thanks to Sorren for knitting this guy! He was made with our favorite basic yarn (also a US-made product, start to finish), Lanaloft from Brown Sheep Company.
