Surely by now, you know of the insanely talented and out-of-the-box thinking designs by Portland’s own Leethal (aka, Lee Meredith). Her love affair with kooky construction and empowering knitters to use whatever yarn they’d like to make her patterns make her a knitter’s favorite. Not to mention her funky and wearable aesthetic and gorgeous photography. Which is why we are happier than happy to be hosting a meet-up on Friday nights correlating with her Mystery Shawl KAL!
It is not too late to join the Leethal Mystery KAL here at Twisted! The first pattern went out on Monday, but the first KAL meeting, with Adam hosting and Lee herself attending is this Friday, October 5th, starting at about 5pm. There will be prizes! Comaraderie! Knitting! Wine! Tea! and did we mention KNITTING?!?! Also, we’ve gotten a sneak peak at the finished object, and it’s super duper insanely beautiful, so there’s that.
If you don’t yet have her pattern, you can get it on Ravelry OR through us, in-store, through the new Ravelry In-Store Pattern Sales Program (which is awesome, by the way).
So, in conclusion, Fridays are for Twisted, and Leethal, and Adam, and knitting, and maybe a little bit of drinking, and some more knitting, and learning new techniques, and hanging at Twisted, and spending time with your knitterly buddies. Are you in?
