Socks: Toe-up with a Gusset Heel on Two Circular Needles

The ultimate sock technique. Never run out of yarn or lose a DPN again – and get the perfect fit every time. Standard class is three weeks long. Students may opt for the bonus session for extra time and attention.

Materials: One skein sport-weight yarn (plain-colored and not too dark), two sets size 2.75 mm (US 2) circular needles. Students may choose from STR Mediumweight, Gems Sport, or Fly Designs.
Includes: Sivia’s Toe-up Socks For All pattern.
Skills learned: Judy’s Magic Cast-on, short-rows, using two-circular needles to knit in the round, gusset heel.
Lace is even more beautiful when knitted with beads! Don’t tell.. it’s a secret how really easy it is to add beads to your knitting with a small crochet hook. In this class, you will learn simple lace stitches while working up a beaded scarf sized version of the Gothic Leaf Stole. After learning this bead technique, you will want to add beads to all of your knitting! Get inspired!

highlighter tape, or magnetic chart keeper.

This class covers basic lighting techniques, camera use, creative display and an intro to lightbox construction!
